Meet San Diego Therapist for Men, John Bucher, LCSW

My name is John Bucher and I am a licensed clinical social worker based on San Diego who not only understands the unique challenges that men face, but how to help navigate through them. I work with men who may be struggling to get out of their own way, who wish to find deeper meaning in the day-to-day, or who strive to change behaviors that may be negatively impacting their lives.

I truly believe that therapy is a gift, and the most important part is a trusting relationship between client and therapist. Using my own experience as a man, as well as my professional expertise, I relate to men by providing them with a comfortable, trusting environment where self-improvement can finally begin to flourish.

My ideal clients are those that aspire to be more confident versions of themselves, better partners, and live their lives free of the burdens of traditional masculinity.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife & our rescue German Shepherd, tinkering with things in the garage, BBQing, and cheering on my beloved San Diego Padres.

Currently I am providing therapy for men throughout the state of California and am based in San Diego.
